Good To Know

A few details before you send someone down the rabbit hole.
What do I put inside the final box?

That part is up to you! The final locking box is approximately 5″ × 4″ × 1.5″, making it perfect for a gift card, cash, jewelry, tickets, a handwritten note, or another small surprise. Your final gift is not included.

Every Reveal includes a custom photo puzzle created from photos you provide, plus one personalized engraving. You choose whether that engraving goes on the keepsake journal or the final locking box. Want both engraved? Add the second engraving for $15.

After ordering, you’ll receive a short personalization questionnaire where you can upload 2–4 photos. I’ll choose the image that will translate best into the puzzle. Clear photos with good contrast work best, but they absolutely do not need to be professional.

For $25, I’ll create a wooden cassette-style gift card holder engraved with a QR code linking to a playlist you provide. A gift card, folded cash, or a little note slides right inside. Think soundtrack + tiny hiding place.

Your order isn’t officially headed to the workshop until I have your photos, personalization choices, and any other requested details. Production time begins once all information has been received, so sending everything promptly keeps your Reveal on schedule. Production takes 7-10 days before shipping. 

Nope. The basic journey stays consistent, but photos, personalization, clues, and some small details may vary. That’s part of what keeps it from feeling mass-produced. It should feel like someone made this for them, because someone did.

Unfortunately, no. You still need to place their final gift inside the locking box before giving The Reveal. Shipping it to you first also lets you see exactly what you’re gifting.

Birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, trips, concert tickets, proposals, pregnancy announcements, milestone gifts, Christmas, or anytime handing someone an envelope feels painfully underwhelming.

 

One last thing…
The Reveal isn’t the gift. It’s what happens before the gift. Set aside a little time, resist the urge to help too quickly, and have your camera ready. The confused looks are part of the fun.
